" Experimental musician, born and raised in Hawaii, he is the fourth generation of Chinese and Japanese immigrants. He graduated from the Department of Ethnomusicology (Ethnomusicology) of the University of Hawaii in 1976. He moved to Hong Kong in 1985 and worked as a dance accompanist. Movement
Graduated from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, London and awarded a bachelor degree. Worked as freelance Dancer / Choreography for Chanel, Decathlon - Kalenji, Cie Black Sheep, Léage Paris, Bast workshop, ANVI in Paris, during the period of 2016 to 2019 when she lived in Paris; 82 Mostra Internazionale Dell’Artigianato 2018 in Florence. Recently performed for FreeSpace - WestKowloon, CCDC, Tai Kwun, Y-Space, 5+2’s STUDIO, Alpha 20, K11 musea as a Hong Kong based Dance Artist.
Percussionist
ARUP GUHA performed Tabla in Austria, Germany, USA, UK and conducted Tabla workshops in France in 2013. He's a guest performer of City Chamber Orchestra of HK. He collaborated with Chinese music, Flamenco, Middle Eastern music (Belly dance) and DJ's where he incorporated Tabla along with Dubki (Tambourine) and Cajon and other drums. Arup is a teacher of music as well
